noun | Gol·da | /ˈɡōl-də/

Golda

A given name, of Yiddish origin, meaning “gold” or “precious.”

A symbol of warmth, resilience, and value—often associated with strength of character, tenderness in creation, and the ability to find beauty in the everyday.

In this context: the name behind each handcrafted piece; a quiet homage to heritage, memory, and meaningful making.

There’s something sacred about making something by hand. Something you can’t quite name, but you feel it the moment your fingers start to move. That’s how it is for me with crochet. It’s not just a craft—it’s a form of remembering.

Every piece I make is one of a kind. Not just because the pattern changes or the color shifts, but because each one holds a specific feeling, a moment, a memory. A rainy afternoon. A song I couldn’t stop humming. A conversation with someone I love. A half-forgotten dream that only made sense once I started stitching.

I didn’t start this shop to sell products—I started it to share stories. I believe that we carry memory in textures. That yarn can hold emotion. That the weight of a handmade item feels different because it is. Someone sat down and chose every detail. Someone cared enough to make it real.

Crochet, for me, is a way of making sense of the world. Of holding space for beauty and softness in the midst of noise. It connects me to those who came before—grandmothers, aunts, neighbors who made things by hand not because it was trendy, but because it was how they showed love.

When you bring one of these pieces into your home, I hope you feel that. I hope it becomes part of your story. Something that reminds you of warmth, or safety, or a version of yourself you want to return to.

This is Golda. This is handmade, heartfelt, and just for you.

Thanks for being here ♥
